2023.1.1299.6October 26, 202314008Feature UpdatebalanceAAPThe EEO-1 data file creation process (Reports > EEO-1 Report) has been updated to match the new 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection Fle Upload Specifications.

The following changes have been made:

  • Filers are no longer required to submit a data row representing the “Consolidated Report.” However, the inclusion of the data row in the file upload will not cause errors and the row will not be processed on submission.
  • The Establishment Information import and edit pages have been updated to include the following fields.
    • Federal Contractor Designation (Field 13) indicator has been added and can now be set per Establishment.
    • Unique Entity ID (UEI) (Field 188) which is required for all federal contractor establishments.
    • Establishment Level Comments (Field 189) can now be entered and included with the file export.
  • The following fields are no longer required in the file upload. However, the inclusion of these values in your file upload will not cause upload errors.
    • 10: Question B.2.C – Was an EEO-1 Component 1 report filed for this establishment last year?
    • 11: Question C.1 – Does the entire company have 100 or more employees?
    • 12: Question C.2 – Is your company affiliated through common ownership and/or centralized management with other entities in an enterprise with a total employment of 100 or more employees?
    • 14: Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number
    • 18: Title Of Certifying Official^
    • 19: Name Of Certifying Official^
    • 20: Telephone Number^
    • 21: Email Address Of Certifying Official^
    • 172-186: Individual Column Totals for Rows 1-10 of the Workforce Demographic Data Matrix

^“Certifying Official” information will be entered directly into the OFS when certifying the 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 report
