Acknowledgement

AcknowledgementAn questionsacknowledgement arequestion usedis employed when you would like a Job Seeker to acknowledge the reading or acceptance of a displayed policy or condition. A simple check box will be displayed next to the question information.

Check Boxes

Check boxes are used to provide a list of answer choices to the Job Seeker. The Job Seeker may select all that apply. When the Options menu appears, choose [Add];[Add]; and follow instructions on the Add Option window. If applicable, indicate whether the Job Seeker must provide Additional Information, using the provided drop-down, and select Text or Date.

Date

The Job Seeker must supply a date in answer to the question.

Label

A label can be used to insert instructions, section breaks, disclaimers, or other desired text within the APPLICATION.

Long Text

The Long Text option can be used for Job Seeker Answers that require between 50 and 2000 characters. Using the Additional Information menu, you can associate a Job Seeker’s RESUME field to the question so that the answer will be automatically populated, if the Job Seeker included that information on the RESUME. Select a RESUME section from the provided drop-down.

Numeric

The Job Seeker must enter a numeric value when answering the question.

Option Buttons

The Job Seeker will view a series of options that will answer the question, from which the Job Seeker must select only one.

When the Options menu appears, choose [Add]; and follow instructions on the Add Option window. If applicable, indicate whether the Job Seeker must provide Additional Information, using the provided drop-down, and select Text or Date.

Skills

A table will allow the Job Seeker to make selections on a topic by column and row. For example, a Skills table could be set up so that the Job Seeker can rate his or herexperience with Office products. A row would be provided for each Office application, with columns representing level/years of use:

First, use the Skills menu to set up the number of columns and rows you would like to include, by using the [Add] icon.

Note: Up to five columns are allowed.

Starting with each column, enter the column header text, and select a type from the provided drop-down—Text, Date, Check box, or Table Driven (described next). Add the row header text for each row. To delete a column or row, click the delete [Delete] icon.

Table Driven

The Job Seeker must select an answer option that is included in an imported Reference table. From the Options menu, select the table that contains the answers to this question. For this Type of Question, you can also identify the choices that require Additional Information and define the information required.

Example: A Reference table includes a list of applicant types, and the question is, “Are you an External or Internal candidate? If internal, please enter your current position.” Therefore, Table/Driven would be selected as the question type, and “Applicant Type” would be chosen from the (Reference) Table Name drop-down.

Text

The Job Seeker must provide an answer with less than 50 characters.

Using the Additional Information menu, you can associate a Job Seeker’s RESUME field to the question so that the answer will be automatically populated, if the Job Seeker included that information on the RESUME. Select a RESUME section from the provided drop-down. Yes/No

The Job Seeker must select “Yes” or “No” as the answer to the question. Using the Additional Options menu, drop-downs will be provided for the following prompts:

  • When the job seeker selects the following answer: (Yes, No)
  • Ask them to provide the following information: (None, Text, Date)

Example: A question inquiring whether the applicant has a valid state driver’s license must be answered “Yes” or “No”. Option Text may be included with the “Yes” answer as follows: “If Yes, provide the expiration date”. The Job Seeker would then provide a Date.

Note: The following question types will not display an Options (or similar) menu: Acknowledgement, Date, Label, Numeric, and Signature.
