BalanceAAP/BalanceHub 3.9.1 Transition to Balance AAP 4.0

Berkshire has consolidated the balanceHUB reporting portal into balanceAAP plan preparation software to enhance interactivity between the two functions. This consolidation also supports Berkshire's efforts to apply more granularity and control for Administrators in assigning user permissions through software and plan Profiles for improved security.

Differences between Version 3.9.1 and 4.0 are outlined in the table below:

Login Screen and Software Button Access
  • Updated look
Security Settings
  • Previously not required, Security tabs for Password and Security Questions are available for the user Account, by clicking on [user name] in the software header.
Navigate between Applications
  • The previous Applications drop-down in the software header has been replaced with circular icons.
Plans List
  • The Plans bar in the software header has moved to the side navigation menu. Visually, this mirrors the logic for moving between (1) the Plans list as a whole and (2) working within an individual AAP.
Not in Roster or Terminations
  • Delete personnel action records that cause a not a "Not in Roster or Terminations" issue.
  • Update plan codes in personnel action records for an employee to match the roster plan code.
