Select (Mail) Format

Email messages can be sent in either:
  • HTML

OR

  • (Plain) Text

By selecting HTML, the user can simply click on a link to open the balanceAAP Login page. You can also add HTML tags to the email template, if desired, to add logos, graphics, or other Web features.

If you choose Text, or if the recipient-side system lacks HTML capabilities, links will not work, and HTML tags will not be readable.

Options for the “From” Field

To help minimize the number of notification emails being caught by spam filters, all emails are sent from the email address: BALANCEaap@berkshireassociates.com. You can specify an email address in the Send Email on Behalf of field, though that will be used to reply to the notification email. The email will NOT appear to have been sent from this email address, however, when the recipient clicks Reply in their email application, the reply will go to this email address.

Develop Message Content

A default email template is provided.provided, This template includescontaining two tags:
  • [User Name] — Inserts the user's first and last name as they appear in the user’s account
  • [Plan Link] — InsertInserts a link to the BALANCEhub Login

Edit the text of the subject line and body of the email.
