As a result of these new demands and opportunities, Berkshire will be leaving the Talent Acquisition product marketplace and sunsetting balanceTRAK on December 31, 2024.

To assist you in the transition away from the product, we have created this page that details all the critical information regarding the sunsetting process and timeline. We will continue to keep this page updated as more information is available.

Please note, our balanceAAP SaaS solution will continue to be Berkshire's flagship product and will not be impacted by the sunset of balanceTRAK.

What does this mean for balanceAAP and balanceREACH?

The balanceAAP and balanceREACH products are not impacted by this decision. If you are currently using balanceAAP/balanceREACH to create your own Affirmative Action Plan or if you work with Berkshire to have your plans created by our team of consultants, these processes will remain as they are today.

How will applicant data, from my new ATS, get to balanceAAP?

Your company's Applicant Data will need to be exported from your new ATS and added to the balanceAAP Data Table import process.

What should we expect from balanceTRAK before sunset?

Berkshire will continue to maintain balanceTRAK during this time to make sure the product remains stable and secure until sunset. Severe issues reported in functionality will be addressed, but enhancements and minor fixes will cease as of July 1, 2023.

Will Berkshire help me find a new ATS vendor?

We understand that finding a new ATS vendor is not a small or easy task. If you would like Berkshire to consult with you on vetting a new ATS vendor, we can provide you with this consulting support at our hourly rate.

What happens when I select a new ATS?

After selecting a new ATS, you will need to meet with your new vendor and decide what balanceTRAK information you would like to move over and when you will begin using the new system.

How do I cancel my balanceTRAK account?

Please contact your Account Executive or Berkshire Product Support team to begin the balanceTRAK cancellation process.

How can I get my data out of balanceTRAK?

Requisition and job seeker information can be exported, as an Excel file, from balanceTRAK using the Data Export feature. A complete data archive, including resumes, application forms, and other documents, can be obtained through the balanceTRAK Archive process. Details on how the archive folder is structured can be found here

How do I request a balanceTRAK Archive?

Before requesting an archive, all balanceTRAK requisitions must be closed. To close a requisition, locate the Actions toolbar on the requisition's Summary tab and click the [Close] button to change the Requisition Category. After closing all requisitions, please contact Berkshire Product Support to request a system archive.

Can Berkshire create a custom data export for my new ATS?

If the new ATS provider requires a custom data export, Berkshire Product Support may be able to assist as needed. All custom balanceTRAK exports can be performed at an hourly rate if requested. Please contact your Account Executive or Berkshire Product Support for more information.

What happens if I have open requisitions when I switch over to the new ATS vendor?

You have the choice to keep the requisition open in balanceTRAK (until the close date or until the sunset date whichever comes first) or you can close the requisition in balanceTRAK and re-open it using your new ATS system.
