As a BALANCEhubBalanceAAP user,is youa comprehensive application for developing and disseminating an annual Affirmative Action plan (AAP), a management document that serves to:

  • Measure the current state of equal employment opportunity at your organization, based on annual and interim review periods
  • AND

  • Guide future efforts in improving or maintaining workforce diversity

Typically, one or more users at your organization will typicallybe belongresponsible tofor onepreparing AAP reporting, which is comprised of an array of AAP analyses, plus accompanying Narratives. There will be three individual AAPs for the following audiences:protected classes, generally organized by business establishment:

  • Minorities & Women
  • Individuals with Disabilities (IWD)
  • Protected Veterans

Share and View AAP Reporting

Each year when the AAP is disseminated, specific groups of balanceAAP users will be granted on-line access to view plan results. The two broad categories of these users include:

  • Plan owners and Administrators,Administrators — Those software users who are actively engaged in Affirmative Action plan (AAP) preparation and/or system administration, while working in balanceAAPadministration
  • ManagersExecutives, andhiring executives,managers, Human Resource personnel, recruiters, orand/or colleagues,other colleagues — Those who will only access theplan BALANCEhub portal onlyresults

Therefore,Accordingly, the plan(s) you will see (and the modules, tabs, and information youwithin seethat areplan) will be governed by your role in the AAP process and systemif permissions,applicable, asyour location. These permissions are granted to each user by the plansoftware owner/softwareAdministrator/plan Administrator.owner.

If you are a viewer who will be invited to access plan results, you will begin by opening the plan, before navigating to the Reports portal:

Organizations (Where installed)

For organizations with subsidiaries or units, having separate Regular or Master Plans, the user with appropriate permissions may open the Organizations tab. From the BALANCEhub landing page, choose Organizations from the tab header. To view each unit’s list of plans on SHARE (and access other modules), Select a Name from the Organizations list.

DASH (Master Plan only)

Graphical displays, representing overviews of plan information, may be viewed and exported. The portal's Administrator may determine DASH settings for each user.

Navigate to another Master Plan — On entry to DASH, the most recently completed and published Master Plan will display. To view a Master Plan for a different year, click on the Change Plan link, found in the lower status bar; and select a different plan from the provided list.

SHAREReports

The SHAREReports tabmodule serves as the repository for the results of your organization’s completed Affirmative Action plans,AAPs, displaying Plans,those whichAAPs that have been published fromto the balanceAAPReporting toportal. BALANCEhub.The key tabs are:

REACH helps Human Resource personnel document Good Faith Efforts (GFEs) for inclusion in an Affirmative Action plan.

  • Dashboard BALANCEhub> /View AboutSee REACHPie Charts, a Summary table, a Map object (or a Metrics object for Functional plans), and a Scorecard that together provide a "run-down" of relevant AAP results.

Account

Theplans: To systemnavigate displaysto another plan (either for a defaultprior entryyear tabor foranother all users. However, if the Administrator has provided you with access to multiple tabs, you can select the default entry screen.

Choose Account from the BALANCEhub header. From the BALANCEhub tab / Account Settings menu, select a different Default Tab from the provided Account drop-down. Then click [Save]. Click Home tolocation), return to the SHARE > Plans tab..


Access to Plans/Records Retention

Prior completed plans will be retained on-line in Reports for balanceAAP software purchasers, according to the Archive Setting. Software purchasers and Berkshire's service clients may contact their Berkshire representatives for more information about records retention.
