Manage the Job Description for an Existing Requisition
As a required Requisition component, the Job Description is populated during the Add New Requisition process. However, several functions are available in the Requisition detail to work with a Job Description,Description oncein thea Requisitioncurrent has been added to the system.Requisition.
These functions are listed below.
Note: For content that is displayed on an external job board, there may be a time delay before updates appear. Please consult the on-line provider for more information.
Preview the Job Description
After displaying the Requisition detail and navigating to the Job Description tab, access the Full Description or Short Description sub-tab, as necessary.Select the [Preview] icon from the header toolbar. The Job Description will display in a new window.
Print the Job Description
Edit an Existing Job Description
Click the [Edit] icon, located on the right side of the Job Description header. Make any changes, following the applicable instructions provided above to: Create a Job Description.Revert Job Description to Job Code Default
(When available) To remove any edits made to the current Job Description and restore it to the Job Code’s default, click the [Revert to Default] button.Export a Job Description
The Job Description can be exported for use outside of balanceTRAK. From the Job Description /footer, select File Type from the provided drop-down, either:- HTML
- Word
OR
Then, click [Export]. [Open] or [Save] the file from a new window.
