Determine Protected Classes

Default Protected Classes

The default classes (to be analyzed for AAP Reports) are pre-selected by the system, as follows:

  • Total Minorities
  • Female

Select Additional Reporting Groups

To includespecify individualspecific, racesor additional, classes for use in plan analyses, access Plan Settings > Reporting Levels. There, check off one or more entries:

  • AmericanTotal Indian/NativeMinorities Alaskan(Default)
  • Female (Default)
  • Asian
  • Black/African-AmericanAmerican Indian or Alaska Native
  • PacificBlack Islander/Nativeor HawaiianAfrican-American
  • WhiteNative Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
  • Two or More Races
  • White
  • Male

Click the [Save] button, which is located at the bottom of the page.

Quick Tip: Analysis by individual race category is useful when running Adverse Impact reporting in conformance with OFCCP audit protocols.

Cascade Changes to Sub plans (Master Plan only)

A menu will appear, asking whether to carry over the settings for Protected Classes to sub plans. Check the box, and click [Save].
