About Client (Organization-based) Settings

These functions, System Tools > Client Settings, which are determined during the initial Implementation and stored at System Tools > Client Settings,Implementation, will not be visible you,you. and the settings are locked. If you have questions or would like changes made, contact your system Administrator or Berkshire’s Product Support, as appropriate for your role and organization.

How do Client Settings support my balanceTRAK Implementation?

As a critical foundation for balanceTRAK operation, Client Settings control system operations (in overall and detailed ways), including settings that are specificinvolved toin yourthe organization,following suchsoftware as: operations:

  • Controlling how Forms are displayed to Job Seekers
    • Allowing international formats for telephone and postal information
  • Displaying content and activating features on the Job Posting page
  • Turning on and managing Integrations with job boards, Background Check providers, and Onboarding services
  • Controlling how Job Seekers are displayed to software users
    • Securing the display of a Job Seeker's personal information
  • Managing the progression of Job Seeker Stages
  • Managing administrative tools, including allowing an Administrator to address duplicate Job Seekers
  • Controlling the operation of Requisitions
    • Determining Fields and their characteristics
    • Limiting the number of Job Seekers
    • Protecting Forms from editing once a Job Seeker applies

Options for Automatic System Notifications

While each user can determine how to receive system notifications under User Profile Settings , Client Settings control what initial, or default, settings are in place. The default options for sending notifications about system activities are to —

Notify users when:

  • A requisition is closing. Sent at 7:00 AM Eastern Time.
  • Someone applies for a job. If this option is selected, a further selection can be made to receive this type of notification:
    • On the day they apply at 10:00 PM Eastern Time, or
    • Immediately after they apply
  • Someone completes a background check form.
  • Notify me during each step of an approval process when I am a participating user.
